Lois M Black Scholarship Fund

The Lois M Black Scholarship Fund is being established by Jan and Hilary van Santen to keep alive the memory of Lois and to help others continue the extraordinary work she did

The Fund will support Ph.D. students in pediatric neuropsychology, clinical child psychology, developmental psychology and related fields, who show exceptional promise as clinicians or researchers and who use Lois’ approach to children with behavioral problems or developmental disorders such as autism or ADHD.

The Fund’s purpose is to inspire more students to follow in Lois’ footsteps by acquiring the neuropsychological and psychological expertise for this approach so as to better serve children and their families.

An obituary and remembrances have been posted by The Oregonian, Autism Research and Resources of Oregon, and Oregon Health & Science University.
